Three injured after a shooting in Vidalia

VIDALIA, Ga. (WTOC) - The Vidalia Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are examining a shooting that injured three individuals. Authorities stated the shooting occurred on E. Jenkins Street near the intersection of Epstein Street on Nov. 4 at approximately 3:57 a.m. Officers said they responded to shots fired in the area, on arrival they were not able to find any of the victims.Authorities were notified that three shooting victims had been taken to the Memorial Health Meadows Hospital via their personal vehicles shortly after officers arrived on scene, according to VPD. Police said the three were later transferred to another hospital in Savannah for advanced medical treatment. One victim is in critical condition while the other two are listed in serious but stable condition, according to authorities. Police state this is still an active investigation.
